America...Cry The Beloved Country!

Are we too late? Have the CHANGES destroyed the country I loved or do we still have a chance to save it?
Are YOU going to stop complaining & actually stick your neck out & do something to get our country back?
I've watched the heart of so many turn to stone from the very fabric of HOPE being destroyed.
We certainly have a right to be discouraged, but NOT the right to give up & accept what's happened!
Don't quit; get involved & let's get OUR candidates elected by supporting them... starting today!
This may be our last time at bat; if we don't Change the CHANGE, not only will we lose the elections, we'll lose AMERICA & all that "we the people" believe in!

I guess I'm not the first guy to raise this concern!

Thomas  Jefferson said in 1802
'I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered..'

The Fed

If it's not part of the Federal Government, then just exactly what is it's affiliation, & what is it's purpose?
Obviously it has a tremendous influence on our economy, but for whose benefit?
The Banks received their Bailouts, but the Fed kept interest rates so low that the banks can't make any money by loaning those funds; consequently, it's had little discernable positive effect on the everyday lives of those trying to get a job, refinance their homes, start a business, etc. & yet the banks are back making money & able to pay their superstars the same luxurious bonuses that they've become accustomed to.
I say "samo, samo" is a lot more palatable to the general population providing they share some of those dollars. I don't mean freebees, I'm talking good old fashioned loans at reasonable interest rates so the entire populace that's willing/wanting to participate in the old American Dream can do so.
